The Multicultural Association of Student Counselors (MASC) is an co-curricular student group committed to promoting awareness of multicultural issues, developing competencies in multicultural counseling, and celebrating multiculturalism, in order to help students prepare themselves to be of maximum service and effectiveness in a diverse world and to encourage others to broaden their perspectives about diversity. To get involved with MASC, please contact Dr. Brenda Frye. Diverse Student Fund One of the goals of the MASC group is to improve multicultural student recruitment and bring greater diversity to the student body at the graduate school. Student members of the MASC group developed the MASC Multicultural Student Fund to benefit students from diverse backgrounds who wish to attend the Graduate School but have financial limitations. This fund is offered to several students each semester to offset the cost of tuition. Download the Diversity Grant application for more information and to apply.
