The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation's mental health staff provide professional assessments as well as consultative and treatment services for recovering youths, adults and their family members. Built on the experience of a holistic approach to care for years, our services insure that patients receive high quality, professional mental health and counseling services consistent with Twelve-Step principles.

Our recovery-sensitive mental health services are designed to meet the unique needs of youth and adults in recovery from addiction and co-occurring disorders, as well as the needs of their family members.

The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation's mental health services are also of great help to people who have recently completed inpatient treatment and are transitioning back into everyday home and work life. Some of the difficulties we treat include:

  • Post-traumatic stress
  • Marital and intimacy issues
  • Family and interpersonal relationship problems
