What to bring

  • Photo ID and health insurance card
  • 3-5 days of comfortable/casual clothing and two pairs of comfortable shoes.  Washer, dryer and ironing facilities are available for your use.
  • Athletic apparel—there are workout facilities available after appropriate physical assessment.
  • Outerwear appropriate for the location and season.
  • Up to $100 in cash or a credit card or checkbook for buying things in the bookstore; vending machine only takes cash.  Admissions office will cash up to one $50 check per week.
  • Calling card for telephone use.
  • Properly labeled prescription medications in the current prescription bottle.
  • Alcohol-free toiletries (shampoo, toothpaste, etc.), toothbrush.
  • Nicotine products: Smoking is allowed in designated areas; however, nicotine is not sold on the premises. Cigars, pipes, clove cigarettes and electronic cigarettes are not allowed.
  • Alarm clock
  • Personal reading materials
  • MP3 player with earpieces
  • Laptops for doing treatment assignments; desk top available to check web.

Cell phones are not allowed during residential treatment. Cell phones are allowed in Day Treatment with Housing.

  • Weapons
  • Inappropriate or offensive reading materials, pornography, sex toys or condoms.  
  • Drugs, alcohol or paraphernalia
  • Use and/or possession of electronic cigarettes is prohibited
  • Cameras and accessories
  • Desk top computers including charging cords, flash drives and external hard drives
  • Tablet computers
  • MP3 players with cameras
  • Portable speakers and docking stations
  • Portable gaming devices and recording devices
  • Expensive jewelry
  • Heating pads; electric blankets
  • Personal pillows and bedding.
  • Hard to launder clothing; dry cleaning is not available
  • Clothing that has drug or alcohol advertising, violence or sexually suggestive logos
  • Personal care items including aerosol products, shaving jells and creams.  Perfume, cologne, scented body sprays, scissors, self-tanning lotion, personal laundry detergent and dryer sheets, nail polish, nail polish remover, hair coloring and/or alcohol-based products
  • Personal herbal supplements and vitamins
  • Outside food and drink

Cell phones are not allowed during residential treatment. Cell phones are allowed in Day Treatment with Housing.
