Phased Model of Care
Phase 1—This highly structured and staff-directed phase marks the starting point for all Tribeca Twelve residents. Support and accountability services and resources include:
  • Medication management
  • Time management
  • Money management
  • On-site intensive outpatient program
  • Weekly session with recovery coach
  • Twelve Step meetings
  • Floor meetings
  • Gender-specific morning groups
  • Family meeting
  • Random urine drug screens
  • Nightly Breathalyzer test

Phase 2—This phase provides access to the same support and accountability services and resources as Phase 1, with frequency or intensity reduced based on whether you have reached clinical and behavioral milestones. For example, you might take on responsibility for managing your personal schedule. Phase 2 allows for a more peer-driven experience but remains a highly accountable environment with residents held to strict adherence of programming requirements.

Phase 3—With increased freedom to manage your own routine, you can have access to the same support and accountability services and resources offered in
Phases 1 and 2 and remain accountable to staff and floor mates. Residents typically experience the greatest growth and change in Phase 3, as you begin to see the value of your new recovery skills and efforts.

Keeping families informed and involved.

For young adults in early recovery, family members can play a key supporting role. Beginning with our admissions process at Tribeca Twelve, recovery coaches involve and communicate with designated family members about the ongoing recovery plan, as appropriate.

In addition, families who live locally are encouraged to attend our weekly educational series. Programming is designed to help family members set healthy boundaries, hold their loved one accountable, and rebuild trusting relationships.
