Current Research Projects
Dr. Valerie Slaymaker, chief academic officer and provost, is currently engaged in a research project examining multicultural self-efficacy in student counselors. This study addresses the need to strengthen competencies in multiculturalism among student counselors in order to provide effective services to clients with diverse backgrounds.
