The counselor will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing both individual and group counseling services. Family Based Therapy Associates (FBTA) in Minnesota, is hiring licensed mental health therapists and master’s level clinical trainees at four locations: Cambridge, Coon Rapids, Chisago City, and St. Louis Park. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will provide outpatient mental health therapy for individuals, couples, and/or families, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide the highest level of care. The right candidate must display sound clinical judgment in both routine and crisis situations, should they arise. You will be responsible for completing diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and discharge plans, and maintaining thorough, relevant documentation as required by state and clinic policy. It is expected that all practitioners will participate in monthly administrative meetings and act in accordance with clinic and professional ethical principles and guidelines, relevant state and federal statutes and regulations, and HIPAA guidelines. Applicants must have independent licensure or be license eligible in Minnesota as a LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC. Applicants must also have a master’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, professional counseling, or marriage and family therapy.
