Telehealth for Addiction and Mental Health

Is Telehealth Treatment/Therapy Right for Me?

Delivered virtually, Hazelden Betty Ford's online drug and alcohol rehab programs, mental health counseling, recovery coaching and family services meet you where you are—with expert treatment from the nation's leader in behavioral health.

All-In-One Care for Co-occurring Conditions

Substance use issues often intersect with other mental health challenges. Symptoms of an anxiety disorder, for example, can become more severe with alcohol or drug use. Likewise, substance abuse can become increasingly problematic as anxiety symptoms worsen. Our clinicians specialize virtual care that integrates treatment for all interrelated symptoms--comprehensive, convenient and proven effective.

  • Addiction and mental health assessments
  • Integrated treatment for alcohol/drug addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions (anxiety, depression, trauma)
  • Recovery coaching, check-ups and accountability
  • Mental health services (individual, adolescent, couples, family and group therapy)
  • Family services and support (children, adolescents, caregivers, families)

Not all virtual programs and services are available nationally.

Why Should I Consider Telehealth Treatment?

Virtual Addiction/Mental Health Treatment

Virtual treatment at Hazelden Betty Ford offers you the same unmatched, evidence-based care as our in-person services, but from the comfort and convenience of home. Intensive outpatient virtual treatment (IOP)  integrates care for co-occurring symptoms of addiction, anxiety, depression and/or trauma within the same all-in-one program to ensure the most-effective care. Treatment length is determined by clinical milestones, not pre-set timelines.

In virtual treatment, you will:

  • Learn practical strategies for managing stress, triggers and cravings, working through emotional difficulties, staying healthy and preventing a return to use.
  • Attend group sessions where you can process, share, learn and support others as you put new insights and skills into practice
  • Have individual counseling to address your specific mental health needs and well-being goals
