Bio
Quyen Ngo, PhD leads research activities at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation as the executive director of the Butler Center for Research. She earned her PhD in clinical psychology and women's studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she also completed a post-doctoral research fellowship.
Her research interests include trauma and violence as they relate to substance use, and use of current and emerging technologies in behavioral health research. She has conducted NIH and CDC funded research and has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed scientific publications and several book chapters, and continues to advocate for our most vulnerable populations.
