Our virtual outpatient addiction treatment programs run on a similar schedule as our in-person equivalent. Just like site-based rehab programming, virtual treatment sessions incorporate our patient-centered care approach with peer rapport and recovery support. Hazelden Betty Ford provides multiple levels of virtual outpatient addiction treatment. Virtual High-Intensity Outpatient Rehab Also known as day treatment and partial hospitalization, high-intensity treatment is the highest level of outpatient rehab services. Programming includes individual and group counseling therapy, educational sessions and therapeutic activities to build and support healthy new routines and behaviors. Programming is four or five days a week and typically 6 hours a day. Virtual Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) Treatment starts at four days a week and includes a variety of groups and individual sessions. Specialty programs are available for LGBTQ+, men, women and for those with opioid use disorder. Programming includes both group and individual sessions with a licensed clinician. Our virtual IOP program uses the same evidence-based therapies as our in-person IOP and early research is proving it. Virtual Low-Intensity Outpatient Treatment Low-intensity outpatient care is typically a transition program that follows a higher level of care. As your recovery progresses from being clinically managed to increasingly self-managed, you will be involved in less-frequent rehab programming and continuing care groups. Days and times vary by state.
