Twelve Step Immersion: How the Steps Heal Us and Make Us Whole With Kathy McCauley, 1 p.m. Friday, September 3-2:30 p.m. Sunday, September 5 Have you become complacent in your recovery? Join us for a weekend of Twelve Step renewal and discovery, where you will be immersed in the Steps and gently guided back to the source of inspiration, wholeness and healing. Processing Grief in Recovery: Moving from Loss to Life With Teesie Vallero, 9:30 a.m. Friday, September 17-3 p.m. Sunday, September 19 It's really difficult to process grief during active addiction. And when we get sober, we often experience a cascade of feelings related to loss—with little idea of how to move forward. This retreat will focus on that journey, helping you to identify, process and share your grief so that you can make peace with it and open yourself to greater joy in recovery. Twelve Step Retreat: Preventing Relapse With Paul Anderson, 7 p.m. Friday, October 1-noon, Sunday, October 3 When we neglect the spiritual side of recovery, we become vulnerable to relapse and a return to use. But how do we become "spiritually fit," and what does the relapse process even look like? Join us and learn to identify the warning signs, and gain the Twelve Step tools and insights you need to "walk in the sunlight of the Spirit," as described in the Big Book. How to Deal with Loss and Change With Roger Bruner, 7 p.m. Friday, October 22-noon, Sunday, October 24 Loss and change are constant in life, and we've been tasked with constantly adapting to them. Some changes come naturally, but others we resist. Why? And how can we use the Twelve Step Principles and the Principles of Spirituality to better navigate those changes without being defined or overwhelmed by them? Join us for this retreat to learn more. God in Action: Steps Three, Seven and Eleven With Kathy McCauley, 7 p.m. Friday, October 29-noon, Sunday, October 31 This is an interactive retreat that gives you the opportunity to explore and embrace a Higher Power, as illuminated in Steps Three, Seven and Eleven.
